United Insurance Company of Vietnam and Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) held the Music Class/ Music appreciation event “Vietnam & Japan light up Hope” for the children who lost their parents due to Covid-19. The event was sponsored by Sompo Welfare Foundation.

On the 13th March 2023, United Insurance Company of Vietnam (UIC), a member of Sompo Japan Insurance Inc, and Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) provided the Music Class/ Music appreciation event ” Vietnam & Japan light up Hope “ for the purpose of emotional education to children of Hope School in Danang, who lost their parents due to Covid-19.

In this first program,the world’s famous musical works were played by VNSO, and there was also a scene where children at Hope School performed performances and songs that they had practiced for this day.

The event was also attended by Mr. Taketoshi Nagaoka – General Director of UIC, Mr. Tetsuji Honna – Maestro of VNSO, Ms. Truong Thi Thanh Thanh – Founder of FPT and Chairman of Hope Foundation.

All expenses for this event are covered by the Sompo Welfare Foundation, two to three events are scheduled to be held in 2023. This project has also applied for the “50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Vietnam”.

The Sompo Welfare Foundation is a public interest corporation established for the purpose of social contribution activities with the investment of Sompo Japan.

In addition to Vietnam, welfare organizations in Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines have been selected as recipients of overseas grants for fiscal 2023.
